So, what's the purpose of the #Rameses project? 🌊Relative sea-level rise is slowly drowning the world's deltas. In SE Asia ~20% of land will be lost by 2100 😮 🥦SLR enhances flood risk, putting both people and food security at risk. Plus, the clear up is 💴💴💴💴

Despite the best efforts of GPSs, fog, flat batteries, GPSs, flooding and GPSs, we (Chris Hackney & Connor) have finished our #MBES & #ADCP survey of #waxlakedelta

It's been a long week, but Josh Johnson & I successfully removed all 23 soil moisture sensors (and associated paraphernalia) as well as extracted 44 more soil cores ahead of the combines. Now, if only I had a store room for all of this stuff 😬😂 #SoilMatters #SoilMonitoring

A bloody tough few weeks in the Amazon measuring the physiochemistry of oxbow lakes and discerning how these conditions are controlled. Well worth the long hot days (and nights!) and mosquitos. Excited to dig into the data over the next few months! #TeamOxbow
