🏐On 18th Sept, year 8 Netball kicked off the season with brilliant performances! Wins against Limehurst (11-0), Rawlins (15-0), Castle Donnington (10-0) & Woodbrook (10-0), with only a narrow 3-2 loss to Charnwood. Fantastic effort and teamwork from all involved – well done!👏✨

📚 On 18th Sept, Y11–13 students visited Uni of Nottingham #WeAreUoN for a Religion, Philosophy & Ethics trip. They explored lectures on AI ethics & moral theory, toured the campus, and impressed staff with their engagement & questions. 👏 #DeLisleCollege #Philosophy

🇧🇪Last week, Year 11 students travelled to Belgium to visit key WW1 sites including Tyne Cot, Thiepval, Vimy Ridge, and the Menin Gate. The trip was both moving and memorable, giving students a powerful insight into the history they study.🌟

Last Friday, Year 8 students with an interest in sport and PE visited Loughborough University, exploring careers in sport, touring world-class facilities, and taking part in interactive PE activities.

✨ Word of the Week: Prudence ✨ Prudence means making wise, loving choices that reflect God’s love. 💛 This week, pause and ask: “What would Jesus do?” Even small actions—kind words, helping at home, or listening in class—can show love and make a difference.

Last year, all of our Year 9 students entered the national Catholic Young Writers Award✍️ We’re delighted that one of our students achieved joint 1st place, with many others receiving highly commended recognition in this national competition! 🌟👏 #StudentSuccess #YoungWriters

Congratulation to Year 8 Emilia who won gold in the Dwarf Athletic Association UK Junior Boccia Competition. She also placed 3rd in the Masters Competition. Well done Emilia, a fantastic achievement and all of us here at De Lisle are very proud!
