The proud people of Serbia have endured pressure, division, and injustice, yet their spirit remains unbroken. The 1999 bombing led by NATO and the imposed separation of Kosovo cannot erase centuries of Serbian history, culture, and sacrifice.

Putin’s greatest - and perhaps unintended - success in this conflict has been a profound Putinization of the Western discourse when it comes to Ukraine and Russia. One line of thought, one paradigm - who is not with us is against us. Zero nuance, zero cohesion zone - just

The lead seal of Nikola, the archont of Zahumlje, an early medieval Serbian principality. He ruled the territory in the 10th century and is likely a descendant of Mihailo Višević (910-935). The seal was discovered during the archaeological excavations of Oricum, modern Albania.
