I’m very grateful & happy to be in medical school but like I also really don’t wanna be in medical school.

I’m exhausted and overwhelmed. I would like some time for myself and not feel guilty about it.

I have made so many sacrifices at the the expense of myself to get into medicine and stay in medicine. Now I’m making different types of sacrifices so that I can focus on my health and myself. Either way it’s not easy.

It is low socioeconomic BIPOC individuals that are disproportionately affected by #RoeVWade being overturned. We need to acknowledge that. It’s devastating news but the the weight of this doesn’t fall equally.

In less than 20 min, I learned more from Denise about health disparity than any other faculty members in my program. Denise is the type of student you want to be on your team> I hope the university realizes how lucky we are to have someone with her self confidence & commitment.

It was so wonderful to meet you! I am honestly so grateful to be around another Latinx individual that I can learn from and go to for support. Representation and connections like these are so important for the success and well-being of medical students.

Seeing everyone match makes me feel so much joy and seeing those that didn’t match fearlessly push forward inspires me. Thank you for the motivation to keep pushing. So proud of everyone!

I did not expect to be enjoying OBGYN as much as I am. Each day I feel more undecided about the specialty I want.
