Just over a 1000 words today. Quite tired so that'll do. Might plant up some tomatoes this afternoon.

I'm only about twenty pages into an advance copy of Once Was Willem by M.R.Carey and it is wonderful. Utterly entranced by the use of language in it. Been struggling to settle into a book recently but this has fixed that.

This takes the series to a whole new level, all the semi-epistolary space spaghetti western cosmic horror action you could hope for. Structurally and narratively it is a bold step forward- 10/10, will have nightmares about again
