Finally got some seed sowing done, late afternoon has been dry. Still out here enjoying the birdsong. Saw the two #FundBritainsWaterways narrowboats pass earlier in the pouring rain. Good for them raising awareness that the waterways need proper funding by government.

Far too much water in our pound. We’re flooded.

Lots of blossom and wonderful scent from this in the garden.

Good to see the need for the #FundBritainsWaterways campaign explained in a letter to ⁦The Guardian⁩.

The writer can no longer join the 8 May campaign cruise to Parliament because of flooded & silted #rivers and closed #canals , which makes the point.
