Access for disabled people is not an amenity. It is a necessity.

A1 For me tech will always be a great leveller for those lucky enough to afford it and spend their free time making it work for them. But the barrier to entry is often too high. To improve human interactions it needs to not discriminate from those it could help the most. #AXSChat

A2 Staying home has increased my desire to get out and meet people. As inaccessible as some places can be IRL I can count on one hand how many accessible online events I've attended 🤦‍♂️ Online as a Disabled man is more isolating than face to face where I have more control #AXSChat

A6 Taking the example of websites, my parents struggle a lot to navigate websites. #Accessibility should be in the design of all websites and all apps, because it benefits everyone. It isn't just about #disability #AXSChat

A4 I think the answer is Good Intent and Collaboration makes a good entrepreneur and will carry you further and higher than greed ever could. As a disabled man I wouldn't be able to do it alone almost regret setting up solo 😨 Nothing about us without us is gospel. #AXSChat

A5 By designing WITH disabled people and not FOR us we can help create a co-design culture for #accessibility and beyond. Moving away from it being taught and explained as a burden and more of a boon to any and all businesses instead will change everything. #AXSChat

A6 I think there is a need for disability-specific consumer appd and there always will be. They might initially raise awareness and lead to better #accessibility in the mainstream but without specificity we can't meet the needs of 15% of the world well enough. #AXSChat
