Dealer of Happiness What's wild is that my Model Y gets basically the same efficiency (maybe even a little better) towing a 4x8 trailer than an F150 lightning or Cybertruck gets empty. If you are buying an EV for environmental reasons, utility trailer when needed is the way unless you haul daily.

Unpopular opinion: Very few of truck owners actually “need” the truck. I work for a Wall Street bank(s). About 30% of cars in the corporate garage is shiny trucks. The word we are looking for is virtue signaling. It’s not what they need, it’s what they want to project.

For the people that “I need to tow few things a year so I must buy a $100k truck to accomplish these tasks” - no you dont.

You all keep arguing if Tesla can do unsupervised FSD, yet it cannot recognize simple school zone (different speed limit when flashing). As of today, it’s a party gimmick that you can use at risk of damaging your wheels.
