Today marks two years since the British Sign Language (BSL) Act was passed by the UK Parliament. Through receiving royal assent, BSL is recognised as an indigenous language of Great Britain.

It is disgusting that Rishi Sunak is targeting people with anxiety and depression who are accessing PIP barely two weeks after the Office for National Statistics (ONS) statistics showed us suicide rates in England are the highest they have been since 1999. The state of our country is disgusting.

I left a PIP Tribunal crying in humiliation. I hadn’t cried when my parents died,or when I was told the damage a tumour inflicted on my spine would be life changing. Started a fresh claim and was awarded highest rate.The process is cruel and designed to be so. #RishiSunak
