After I read that loathsome, poorly-written WSJ editorial which tried to *shame* a woman’s hard-earned achievements, I thought the following: 1. When are we good enough? 2. Why do you get to decide? 3. You’re a jackass.

This is a good explanation of why S&S’s response to that book came after the fact—they have zero oversight over their distribution clients. I hope they are currently reevaluating whether they want to continue distributing this publisher at all.
