I used to work in a library in the council that most recently voted down drag story time. Public library staff are not politicians or lobbyists, they work so hard to make libraries safe for all. Drag story time or not, LGBTQIA+ folk are always welcome in libraries. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

I love that I thought my biggest worry yesterday evening was getting home dry in the rainy weather. When it actually turned out to be getting racially abused and called “A f****** Sri Lankan c**t” one block from my office. And now I’m nervous to walk to work today.

Finally caught COVID in 2024 after dodging it all this time. I was due for a booster 14 days ago and didn’t get it because I’d been too busy to make an appointment. It’s the only time I haven’t been vaccinated on time since I gained access to COVID vaccinations. Get your booster!
