After doing C++ for a bit (and experimenting with "modern" C++ as well), some thoughts: (1) C++ modules are wonderful. (2) Compile time template errors are still a nightmare. (3) You can express basically anything you want. (4) It's the ultimate yak-shaving language.

Sorry for the negativity (just gotta vent sometimes), but "styled components" is the most foolish thing I've seen in a long time. Taking the "Cascade" out of CSS is going to result in better, more maintainable designs? Really?

"Refactor" is a terrible term, but it's a useful euphemism for "rewrite" when you don't quite want to admit to managers that code is unsalvageable garbage.
