As of 1:35 pm PDT, the temperature sensor at Harry Reid International Airport hit 100°F, making today our first triple digit day since September 8, 2022. #VegasWeather

Death Valley broke a high temp record today! 🤔 A world record? NO. That's 134° (July 10th, 1913). 🤔 A daily record? YES! 127° WAS the hottest July 16th (2005, 1972). Furnace Creek observed 128° today (so far!) @ 2:20p PDT, breaking the daily record.🥵 #DeathValleyWxRecords

Monsoon season finally arrived to Vegas today! Hoping to learn some more to better forecast and understand these storms while I’m still in town.

Got to make my first weather graphic yesterday for some more record setting heat here in Vegas, hoping it’s just the first of many! On a completely unrelated note, I got to see Oppenheimer this weekend and it’s definitely fighting with Inception as my favorite Nolan film.
