#Melissa is now a major hurricane. Current max sustained winds are 115 mph (cat 3). Location is just south of Jamaica.

As of the 2 PM NHC Advisory, #Melissa has max sustained winds of 175 mph and is beginning to make the turn northward towards Jamaica.
