My genuine reaction when people say that EVEN Hell Bent was better than The Reality War in terms of writing. Like, what do you mean EVEN?! Have you no shame at all?

Rewatching scenes from Hell Bent was a mistake, because now I'm thinking about Twelve and Clara again. Most insane love story ever told.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone has to have complex character arc. But why can’t they be more… human? Give me one genuinely heartfelt or cheeky moment like this. Something to actually feel that these people really work and pretty much live together.

Sometimes I feel sad about 12 era being such a niche thing in the context of how NuWho is presented to the audience compared to *some* other eras. It’s rarely talked about in any way and people and themes from that time aren’t brought back or even mentioned too often.

These stories and these characters don’t need reimagining or someone’s acknowledgment. They’re brilliant, awesome and iconic as they are.

I mean, she’s THE companion both in terms of complexity of her relationship with the Doctor and in terms of how much she meant to the Doctor. I’d argue she’s one of the most compelling characters of all fiction, not only of DW. You could write a thesis on her personality.

gen z "feminism" has so violently pivoted to right wing prude culture that women can no longer be sexy because men might enjoy it so women like Sabrina must be shamed and criticized. One might even call her a whore for what she's wearing. but it's woke so it's ok.

S9 in many ways is the complete opposite of RTD2. It subverts the concept of “the mystery box” to focus on the characters. It’s also profoundly well-thought-out, as it sets every aspect of the arc throughout the series so that the climax makes sense thematically and emotionally.

The last act of FWWM is one of the bleakest and the most tragic things I’ve ever watched. The sense of inevitability hits you like a truck and reminds that beneath the whimsical surrealism it’s always been a story of a girl and the terrible abuse she suffered at the hands of men.
