This morning we looked at the features of instruction writing and gave instruction writing a go! ‘How to access google drive’ was the challenge set… seriously impressive first attempts! The children would like to share them with @Y2HVCS when we’ve mastered them! 🌟

Our first netball PE session was a definite success! We worked on chest, over head and bounce passes and using our legs and hand shape to control the ball! Excellent listening and fabulous skills demonstrated 🌟

We’ve been very patiently waiting for a special delivery for a couple of months… and it was so worth it! A great afternoon using their designs to finally make their Roman mosaics! We might have moved on to a new topic but we had to rewind for just one special activity 🌟

Earlier this week, we went on a Spring walk and identified signs of Spring. We then compared these to the different seasons! Some of the children voluntarily described parts of the seasons in their written work in Welsh... without prompting too - proud teacher as always! 🌟

We have been working really hard on measuring length in Maths! Our OPM reflection from last lesson suggested a practical session was needed... so a practical session it was! Converting units on the go... gwaith da iawn! 🌟

We have been working really hard on instruction writing in our LLC sessions! Today we looked at set of instructions that had lots of mistakes in them... the children managed to spot so many of the mistakes and made sure the edits were redrafted BEAUTIFULLY 🌟

We enjoyed a little sing song this afternoon too! An incredibly special part of our history to remember 🌟

What a fabulous year in the world of Year 3! The children have worked incredibly hard and brightened our classrooms by being their fabulous, kind selves! We are sad to see them go but they’re definitely ready for Year 4 ventures now 🌟 Wishing you all a wonderful summer break ☀️

What a night! Super proud of each and every child that came today. Impeccable behaviour and fabulous singing and dancing 🌟 We are about 30 minutes away so should be back at school for 10:45. Diolch ☺️
