It’s been great to hear from so many incredible local organisations this morning talking about the work they’re doing to help #endviolence against women and girls. This work requires collective action & it’s great to see so many in ArdsandNorthDown stepping up to drive progress.

Lead shot is currently banned in NI wetlands, but the EU are pushing for a wider ban on lead ammunition. In Europe, a million birds die every year from lead poisoning linked to ammunition, and a million children face lead exposure from game meat. A wider ban means a safer future.
