I’m slowly realizing that a proper and healthy devotion to Mary, the Theotokos, the mother of God, is important. Not for an end in itself, but to point us to Whom she bore: Jesus Christ.

There’s this funny quirk among papistical and eastern apologists where they say “even Luther accepted/rejected [belief]” as if it were somehow in spite of his convictions.

Another quick hot take: Mary veneration as well as other Holy people done to a “healthy level” can be great to the life of a believer.

Double predestination when you isolate Romans 9 makes sense. When you read the rest of scripture however it’s clear it’s not biblical.

Genuine question if God was able to allow the Jews in the Old Testament to recognize and preserve the books of scripture then why couldn’t he do the same with the New Testament?
