We had a great turnout today for a block walk in the Heights hosted by Lesley Briones! It's amazing to see this much energy going into early voting, which starts Monday. Make your plan, talk to your family and friends about voting and let's elect Democrats this fall!

Today I am asking my supporters to vote early AGAINST the HISD Bonds, Props A & B. I recently met with a constituent who is on the Board of Managers. While I appreciate her commitment to kids, I shared my profound disappointment with the failures of HISD’s current leadership.

HOPE members are urging Houstonians to vote YES on Harris County Flood Control District Prop A, which would provide funds for flood projects that have been delayed due to lack of investment. Additional funds will go toward resilience planning.

I’m not sure what world Mike Miles lives in, but here in Houston, you have to EARN the right to spend 4 billion dollars of taxpayer money. Greg Abbott may trust Miles, but we don’t. No Trust, No Bond!

The Houston Chronicle asked 100 Houston voters how they voted on HISD's $4.4B school bond. About 67% said they voted no on both Proposition A and B, while 30% said they had supported the bond. Why are you voting no? houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-t…
