Since everyone seems to be posting their views and beliefs on a variety of topics, I figured I’d post some of my own. 1. God Almighty 2. A minimum 12 hour day of productive and ideally hard work. 3. Self assessment without hubris. 4. Working to hone a diverse variety of skills.

What does every tool in my shop have in common with every word I choose to speak? Well, if used incorrectly, hastily, or inappropriately… someone’s getting hurt. Words are tools my friends… for them to be effective you must first learn how to properly use and apply them.

I’ve been watching a new show on my downtime and there have been so many moments where I instinctively want to text my buddy about it. But he’s dead. Cherish your family and friends. You truly cannot know when a moment with a loved one is your last one with them. Miss ya bud.

P.S.A. X isn’t really life. Yes, it contains facets of the real world. But it isn’t the real world. It’s not flesh and blood, sight and sound, nor heart and soul. Spend time with real people, share a meal, watch a sunset, breathe real air, engage in a challenging convo. Live.

Seems the world‘s gone mad. Again. A lot of people are delusional enough to think they can do something about it. The truth is most of us are average and hold no sway outside of our little circle. So be good to those around you and work hard in what you’ve been entrusted with.

My father is the best father a man could ever hope for. If I can live up to half of what he has done-and continues to do- for his family, I will consider it a life well lived. I love you dad.

It’s been a long week (work and then some, 3 yr old with stomach bug—so much puke—student loan accruing, monies getting tight) but it’s also occurred to me after carful observation of my two cats that cats are essentially furry dragons that have lost their wings. I need sleep.

It’s all about Jesus.

I’ve come to realize that when someone says “You need a hug” and proceeds to hug you, it’s almost always they that need that hug. Simultaneously they’re not listening to you but rather reliving their own hurts while you share. Sharing is not always caring I guess.

Jesus defeated death so you can live.

The last few days have been something I don’t have words for. What I do know is that our country, our world, has changed. Charlie was the best good man. He set an example that I hope people follow. More importantly, he glorified and served God. I hope people follow in that.

My heart is in Phoenix today.

Many of the pastors praising Charlie Kirk’s courage today would also vote to kick him out of their church tomorrow for the “sin” of upsetting women.

More is lost to indecision than to the wrong decision. Life is short friend. Take risks, be decisive, and do not worry about the unknown. Live.
