There has been a significant improvement in the amount of “abnormally dry” conditions in Wisconsin on this week’s Drought Monitor, but with minimal precipitation expected over the next week and trends for below average precip this month…we could see it expand again.

Looks like a lot of people with the correct answer.

The counties highlighted in blue are under a Frost Advisory between 2am and 8am Saturday morning. Low temperatures in the middle-30s are expected. Which of our stations across the state (red dots) will record the lowest temperature tomorrow morning?

And the cold spot was Black River Falls, coming in at 32° about an hour ago.

We've got a busy week ahead with 5 site visits and at least one installation. The Wisconet map is really starting to fill in. This month, we're targeting 8 installs and bringing on two new team members. It's an exciting time at Wisconet.

In what is probably no surprise to most people across the state, there's been a significant increase in the area covered by "Abnormally Dry" conditions on this week's Drought Monitor. Hopefully the 6-10 and 8-14 day precip outlooks come to fruition and we get some needed rain!
