During our daily walk to the lake we saw 2 of these wings (presumably left overs after a bird of prey has taken the body). Does anyone have an idea of what bird the wings are from?

Here's some footage from a few nights back caught on the wildlife camera. 2 Hedgehogs having a scuffle in the garden! Could be competing for territory, a mate, or maybe just testing their strength........what do you think? #hedgehogs

I set the wildlife camera up at a relatives house last night (socially distanced ,we live in the same village). Here is what we captured.....

We noticed this hedgehog wasn’t moving right last night the garden. He was dragging his back leg. Managed to rescue, keep safe & warm overnight. Dropped him off 1st thing this morning with the amazing Tracy from Hedgehog Help Prestatyn to get the help he needs. Will keep you all updated 🦔

Garden Wildlife DIY Hedgehog Society rspca rhyl branch He has some movement in his leg and looks like it's been injured just a few days. Some swelling. He's on painkillers and fluid injections. Review tomorrow and see if antibiotics needed. Thanks for helping him. 🦔

#hedgehogweek As well as good nourishment (cat food with meat as the 1st listed ingredient) hedgehog mums need access to lots of clean water to produce milk. New mums won't want to travel far, leaving their babies unprotected, so please leave water dishes in the front+back garden

1st rescue of the year yesterday. This hedgehog walked up the garden path late afternoon. She is underweight & very dehydrated. She is now at Hedgehog Help Prestatyn to get the treatment she’s needs & hopefully make a full recovery 🤞🏼. If you see a hedgehog out in the day, please seek help

It’s a good time of year to clear out & clean nest boxes, ready for new visitors. Unfortunately there were blue tit eggs left over from last year. There are also gnawing marks from bees that used the same box. The old nest had a mixture of moss, tennis ball, pet hair & feathers
