Alijah Shabazz long jumped 21 feet 2 inches and qualified for regionals yesterday at the District championships. Moving on to Port Clinton!

TJ Hutchen is District Runner up in Pole Vault! He is moving on to the regional at Port Clinton next week.

Avery Taylor took 4th and Alijah Shabazz took 2nd in the 100 meter dash at the District Championships. On Friday. They both advance to the regionals in Port Clinton next week!

Avery Taylor places 4th in the District Championship in the 300 meter hurdles and advances to the regionals!

Alijah Shabazz is the 2024 District Champion in the 200 meter dash!

Whitmer Boys 4x100 relay of Avery Taylor, Chucky Isom, Jo Tilman and Alijah Shabazz ran 43.61 at the District Championships and qualified for the regionals next week in Port Clinton.

The Boys Track and Field awards is tomorrow at 6:00 in the Whitmer Cafeteria. Athletes should bring their uniform in a bag with their name inside of the bag with the issued uniform. Hope to see you there!

It was a great night at the Boys Track Awards Night. Many medals, certificates, letters, and trophies were given out! Avery Taylor and Josh Mulherin were 4 year Varsity Letterman! What a special accomplishment.

Senior Spotlight: Josh Mulherin Favorite track memory-hanging out before meets my Sophomore year with the 4x800 relay team. Future Plans- Enlist in the National Guard and pursue an Aviation degree at BGSU.

Senior Spotlight: Mike O’Brien Favorite track memory- running in the big man/thrower 4x100 relay. Future Plans- Play football at Wayne State University and study global supply chain management.

Congrats to Cooper Bringman on a 10th place finish in Shot Put finishing with a season best throw of 42’10 1/4” and PJ Aubry on a great race, winning the 1600 elite race in a time of 4:35, tying his PR, also run earlier this year! Also, Shoutout to Lily Good on winning her race.
