*** CRASH - ROAD CLOSED *** Hennepin County Road 6 between County Road 83/110 and County Road 90 is closed in the city of independence due to a fatal crash. This will remain for an extended period of time. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes.

** UPDATE *** Hennepin County Road 6 near 90 in the city of independence has re-opened to normal traffic. The crash that occurred earlier this afternoon just before 3 PM has cleared. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked through this tragic crash.

Big win for WHPS Thanks to the Helmsley Charitable Trust & U of M’s Center for Resuscitation Medicine, we’ve received a $24K LUCAS CPR device at no cost. It will improve survival during cardiac arrests. Sgt. Ebeling & Ofc. Vorderbruggen received the device and training on Aug 27.
