CHORE TOUR update: Planting season is coming! This weekend I met up with farmer & Democratic party legend Walter Smith, and the Will & Bailey Stinson out in Yadkin County. We did the meetup in the field, since the Stinsons are in the middle of prepping the fields for spring.

🚨 we got a report this morning of a voter who was turned away from a polling site trying to use their *VALID* student ID to vote. Their student ID is on the approved list from the state board of elections. This is why voter ID disenfranchises voters — especially young voters. 🧵

We won the primary. I want to thank everyone who supported me and volunteered on my behalf. Franklin County has always been my home and I love the people here. I will continue to listen to the community so we can build power in our county for the everyday person.

Primary Election Day last week was the first benchmark we needed to hit on our way to winning back our courts, and we did it! Was proud to have so many friends out there with me, talking to voters up to the very last minute, about our fight for the courts. Next: November!

This week, 12 members of the AA Caucus in Franklin County held a postcard-writing party. After a delicious potluck supper, they cranked out almost 120 postcards in about an hour. This is critical work to help get Dems elected up and down the ballot.
