How in the world does WGSD have ANY state or federal funding while basing their K-12 curriculum on an activism organization’s recommendations for training young activists?

School board member: I have parents coming to me saying their kids are begging to be homeschooled because of the bullying. I thought schools were addressing this? Me: there’s absolutely no tolerance for bullying in schools…unless the bullies have IEPs or 504s, then it’s excused.

The Equity in Action Committee for Webster Groves School District exists to “activate” equitable practices into the community. Now taking nominees for their activism award. Last year they honored a middle school counselor who focuses on equity in her sessions with students.

One such practice is allowing males in female spaces if they identify as female. There is no direct policy passed by the district. Just something that the Superintendent, DEI director, and legal team have decided. Board of Ed president Allen Todd refuses bringing it to vote.

WGSD’s 10% enrollment decline - over 6 years. Contrast with the flat graph presented by WGSD superintendent Jana Parker, omitting the Covid drop. WGSD has still not rebounded like other #missouri districts. Why not ask families the reasons they’ve left? 🤔
