Our new ED, Trevor Sears, has been joining breeders Yadeta Kabeta (pictured) and Mazen Aljarrah on field visits in recent weeks. Trevor brings a wealth of ag industry experience, and while cereals are new territory, he’s been doing his homework this summer! 🌾

Harvest is in full swing at the WCI research farm! This late-summer heat has crops moving quickly, and our team has been hard at work and making great progress harvesting material from the field. Wishing everyone a bountiful and safe #Harvest25!

Talk about Teamwork! 🙌 We had all hands on deck to plant our first round of single seed descent in the growth rooms -- nearly 20,000 seeds went into four rooms! A great example of how the WCI team comes together to get things done, especially during busy seasons like harvest.
