Make no mistake. God is at work. He’s come to clean house but He doesn’t clean a house He has no intention of occupying. He’d just nail a condemned sign on the door & move on. It’s happening. Research awakenings, revivals & reformation. They’re never not messy. Wind blows stuff.

The thing about walking with Jesus is that, a good bit of the time, you may not know where on God’s green earth you’re going but you’ve got mighty good company getting there.

I want to remind you today that just because it may seem rocky in your life/situation right now, it doesn't mean that God isn't there with you. He knows when to calm the storm and He knows when to ride it out with you. Trust that He's ALWAYS got you in the palm of His hand.

Just want to remind you of an immutable fact today. Luke 1:37 says “Nothing will be impossible with God.” He delights in defying the odds stacked against us. If we’re growing out of our belief that He can do the impossible, we’re not growing. We’re shrinking.Hold onto your faith.

Follow Jesus closely. KNOW HIM. Keep your face in the Scriptures. Learn what Jesus is like & what compelled and repelled him. Then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, let THAT mind be in you. Let Him shape HIS convictions in you. Then stick by those convictions with all your might.

I’ve adopted 2 words from Acts 16:14 into sacred dialogue in the last few years: “Pay attention.” I pray almost daily, “Lord, open my heart to pay attention.” I am convinced God is constantly working around us in answer to our prayers but we’re so distracted we don’t even notice.

Sometimes people simply do not have it in them to give you what you think you need from them. Don’t make it any more complicated than it needs to be. Bless them, love them, and keep moving. You will never ever get from people what you can only get from God.
