Hedgehogs were so excited while orienteering on our nature trail today. They hunted, counted and ticked with pride! 🌲🌳🐿🐻🐚🍂🍃

Hedgehogs enjoyed bark and leaf rubbing yesterday! They were amazed by the different patterns and textures 🍃🍂🌲🌳

Take a look at the shapes Hedgehogs made with natural materials! We spoke about sides and corners and used vocabulary like 'curved' and 'straight'. We also tried making the first letter of our name! 🔵🔶🔺💚

We used our fine motor skills to weave around pine cones yesterday. Up, down, over and under! Hedgehogs said it was like putting tinsel on a Christmas tree, although it's a bit early for that! 🌲🎄

If you go out in the woods today... you're sure of a big surprise! Hedgehogs enjoyed a teddy bears picnic in the sun 🐻🍌🍎🍐

Hedgehogs loved helping each other to wash the playhouse! Of course, the sun helped. I wonder what we're going to use it for... ☀️🏠

What an amazing moment, and the reactions caught on camera! Hedghogs have witnessed the real life-cycle of caterpillars: from an egg to a caterpillar, to a chrysalis and finally to beautiful butterflies. Today we were lucky enough to set them free! 🥚➡️🐛➡️🦋

What a fantastic day Hedgehogs have had for our 'Beach Day' treat. We had a fish-filled paddling pool, bucket and spades sand pit, sail-boat water tray, ice-lolly colouring competition and Seaside Sound's Bingo. Don't worry, beach happy! ☀️🕶🌊🍦🏖
