I actually had a lot of fun playing Escape from Tarkov yesterday. Dailies felt much more rewarding and challenging and gave day 1 a more “choose-your-adventure” feel. The hXc wipe has a lot of issues, and changes need to be made, for sure… but it wasn’t so bad.

I would like to amend my previous tweet... this version of Escape from Tarkov hardcore is a few good ideas, along with a smattering of horrible ideas without taking consideration of all of the mechanics that were put in place to make the systems work in the first place.

First Impressions on the new Escape from Tarkov: Arena patch. - EMERCOM is LIT. - BASE has awful spawn logic. - DORMS is like that time they tried to expand Equator. It's just people holding angles and cheesing audio. Great map for desync & ping abuse. Good luck if you spawn outside.
