Earlier this week, a celebration was held to unveil a piece of art in INB commemorating former Senate Majority Leader Jeannette Hayner (R-16). Senator Hayner represented the 16th district 1977-1993. She served as the Senate’s first female Majority Leader from 1981 to 1983.
