Earlier this week, some of our South Peninsula volunteers had the pleasure of visiting Reddam House Constantia Early Learning School! 🏫✨ We spent a fun-filled day teaching the preschoolers about wildfires in the Western Cape and sharing the important work we do at VWS.

🔥NEW FIRE 🔥 PREEKSTOEL, HERMANUS Readiness crews from Stellenbosch and Helderberg have been activated to assist Overstrand Municipality with a veldfire in the Preekstoel area in Hermanus.

Thank you to our crew from Newlands and South Peninsula that responded to the call this morning to assist SANParks TMNP with the fire in Newlands forest. Crews will continue to ensure that hotspot areas are taken care of. Well done to all involved 👏
