On my journey to get proficiency in CW, I am challenging my self to ICR. Today I got it for the first time, all characters recognised in less than 600 ms. #bettericr #icr #cwfe #cw Avg response time 451 ms Minimum response time 291 ms Max response time 597 ms

My 80m antenna has apex at just 5m from the ground and I can't hear even the local 80m SSB net on 3.6 MHz at 7.15 am with net controller at 5 km from here. Still it took my signals about 2000 km on 12m CW to VU2TUM / [email protected]. Wonder of harmonic resonance of dipole! youtu.be/XIZZzzYwzdo

VU2JO Jon It's MUF relatded. Usually when You notice short skip MUF must be quite high. In example, when we have s-skip on 28MHz it's a sign of possible Es on 50MHz.

(Once again) it has been proven that NA can access QO-100. Vincent F4BKV activated three gridsquares in Canada 🇨🇦. Sometimes affected by deep fading but at times a real good 59 signal from him. Congrats to the first actications of GN38 and GN36 on QO-100. #amsat #hamradio #qo100

On March 17, 1980, the FCC authorized ASCII transmissions over the air– introducing a versatile, computer-friendly character set for hams. This pivotal change helped pave the way for the packet radio era. #44Net #hamradio #amateurradio #digitalcommunications #packetradio

Thanks to discussion by 🇼🅰️4️⃣🅾️S🇭 Konrad 🇺🇸 & VU2TUM / [email protected] and write up by Ed Durrant, I have added this one to my wish list, though I am not sure when that will materialize! youtu.be/umDqkhGg_hA Looks like an exciting project as I already have RTL-SDR. Now for dish, Bullseye 10 kHz LNB & Bias-T.
