Disabled people like myself who can't work are sick and tired of being pushed into horrible situations because of deep poverty perpetuated by the government at all levels. Canada treats disabled people like trash. So many barriers in every aspect of our lives.

I am not ok. Nothing about our world is ok. The government has left the disabled in legislated poverty without a thought. They don’t care about us. We can’t afford food or anything else we need. I cry myself to sleep most nights. This is not ok. I am not ok.

Debate today with Roberto Henriquez (NDP) at McMaster University. Among topics: affordable housing, tuition/student debt, Indigenous curricula and faculty. Heartened to hear so many Mac students, from all over the country, voted in oncampus advance polling last week. Green Party of Canada
