We have been told for years that our electrical grids can’t support a state full of electric vehicles. Welp… jsonline.com/story/money/bu…

1:58pm Sunday: We need to watch lakeshore areas very closely overnight. This could be a BIG lake effect snowstorm IF it comes on shore. Stay tuned.

Nice and mild here in SE WI ahead of the cold front. Get some late season yard work done today while it's mild out. Temps start to fall around sunset and will only reach the mid 40s on Sunday.

A lost of justified attention for this weekend's winter storm, but before that, we could see 60mph wind gusts tomorrow. This is strong enough to take down tree limbs and cause wide spread outages.

BLIZZARD WARNING issued for all of SE Wisconsin. Snow and Wind 50+ combo will create terrible travel conditions late tonight into Monday morning. Honestly don't recall last time all of SE Wisco was under a blizzard warning... Ground Hogs Day Blizzard?

Why there isn’t as much uproar about these data centers eating up farmland (see solar farms debate) is absolutely beyond me. Solar will provide cheap/clean energy while the data centers abuse our fresh water and use massive amounts of energy.

We're going around the Moon. Come watch with us. Artemis II's four-astronaut crew is lifting off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on an approximately 10-day mission that will bring us closer to living on the Moon and Mars. The launch window opens at 6:24pm ET (2224 UTC). x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

All of this flooding in SE Wisconsin should remind us one thing. Warmer air holds more moisture. The planet is hotter than previous years and that translates into more rain falling than in the past rainfall events. #ClimateChange

Another round of severe storms and heavy rain is possible Fri afternoon and night. All severe hazards are possible, with tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds. Flash flooding may occur with heavy rain. Keep up with the forecast! #swiwx #wiwx

Is your basement prone to flooding? Consider moving whatever you can up to the main floor of your house before it storms today. Storms: 5-10pm. Rain: 5p-2am. Rain rates in storms could be 1-2”/hr. We are so saturated that any heavy rain will lead to flooding. Be proactive!
