Xmas term finished with the 1st whole school assembly, which I planned. Was a massive high, students left positive, staff were buzzing, the boss was happy, all after a pretty tough term. Now the reality of having to somehow repeat this and maybe even top it at Easter has hit 🤯🤦‍♀️

Austria 2024 complete. Fantastic almost stress free trip, from rain to 12 degree sunshine, to whiteouts and light snow showers, we experienced it all. Lots of laughs and memories for everyone. Already planning next year 💪🙌🎿⛷️

Second ever whole school assembly complete. Pretty proud of myself for getting 800 students and 60 staff in one room together to celebrate the achievements of our student body, and to introduce our new student leadership team. What a superb way to end the term 💪😁

Holiday mode activated. After an incredibly busy term it was today so nice to hear our boss talking so passionately about one of my major projects / responsibility. Time to rest and recharge

A week away = a reading marathon. Pretty pleased with myself. Love reading but struggle term time to get into books. The family upstairs was my fave.

Sports Day 2024 complete. 10k steps by 8am! My House captains in House T-shirts for the first time and leading from the front. My home made medals went down well and my colleagues dressed up for the occasion. On reflection not the worst birthday I’ve ever had.

I love the Olympics I really do, there is so much to discuss with students when we’re back…. But I am dreading the jewellery battle already! 🤦‍♀️
