Today we say goodbye and thank you to Dame Janice M. Pereira who sat on JCPC hearings this week. Working with a judge from the Caribbean has been invaluable to the Court. We spoke to Dame Janice before she left, hear about her week below:

This year Christmas & Chanukah coincide - time to cherish the uniqueness of our own backgrounds & to celebrate the diversity within our work communities. Wishing everyone that celebrates either festival, or both, or neither, a very peaceful break over the festive season.

An honour to hear Holocaust survivor Eva Clarke BEM speak UK Supreme Court. Eva gave a personal connection to the horrors of hatred & it's her deceptively simple, profound response to it that will stay with me: to show respect & kindness to everyone. Thanks to H.E.T.
