Guatemala City garbage dump, workplace of the families in the Paso a Paso program. Parents earn $2 per day, working 7 days a week, sorting through garbage for recyclables. The Paso a Paso program exists to break the cycle of poverty through education. #Breakthecycle

Here is our finished product after collaborating with El Nido Estudio de Arte and scholars from the Paso a Paso community in Guatemala City. It's so rewarding knowing that this vibrant mural will greet the scholars every time they enter their educational center.

2024 Mayfield Service Immersion Trip After months of preparation, we embark on our journey to delve into issues of urban awareness and environmental sustainability within our region.

Maintaining a clean river and lake takes effort and commitment from everyone, from big businesses to individual citizens. Through the guidance of @trashfish_cle we kayaked down the Cuyahoga River learning the effects of pollution in our water and how we can help.

The rain tried to stop us but we stayed strong. Led by Cuyahoga Valley NP rangers, we bolstered saplings of native trees to reforest the land and eliminate invasive species. #environmentalsustainability #serviceimmersion Conservancy for CVNP #CVNP
