Last Sunday, my Pastor showed us from Scripture how that, many times, a miracle is at the end of obedience to an instruction. The Wall of Jericho, and Naaman in the River Jordan, to name a few.

Peter’s obedience brought the miracle of salvation to the household of Cornelius. The lad with 5 loaves and 2 fish made the miracle of feeding over 5000 possible. Moses’ obedience at the Red Sea brought liberation to a whole nation of God’s people.

You see, if you will see miracles consistently in your life, you must be open to the realities of them happening TO YOU and THROUGH YOU. And many many times, obedience to promptings, nudges and instructions could be the trigger for the miraculous.

I have an idea that can help your spiritual growth: Anytime you think that “oh, I’ve not been praying enough”, pray that very moment. Anytime you think that “oh, I’ve not been studying enough”, open your bible app to do some studying. Let me tell you what will happen to you…

Maybe accepting hatred is a form of kindness. Maybe wanting to be liked by everyone is a form of arrogance. And perhaps there is no greater disservice than wanting everyone to be at peace with you before you do the things you truly want to do.
