As the grandson of a Tuskegee Airman, this blows my mind.

You can't erase our history. It's not just Black history it's also American history. My Great-uncle was Captain Albert Whiteside Jr an original Tuskegee Airmen. When I was a child I got to talk to him in person. People should learn about the Tuskegee Airmen.

My HS principal was a Tuskegee airman, an excellent educator that took involved interest in his students education. We never knew his background until the city had a surprise ceremony for him. Rest in power QP Smith. He won't be forgotten. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quentin_P…

The man who runs my law school's cafe came up to my table this week as I was absorbed in prepping an oral argument, handed me a poppyseed muffin (which he'd warmed up), and said, "You need this: you're working very hard." Just like that, you can brighten someone's whole day. 💓
