Important points about problems of military metaphors. Narrative of "frontline" health workers as soldiers & heroes attracted praise but also carries more sinister expectation of sacrifice, to follow orders without question. More than grand gestures we need everyday kindness.

2/4 Auz Chitewe leads a breakout group to come up with these shared values: Putting the service users at the centre, kindness, trust, equity and transparency all key themes in the group discussions and feedback being held as part of the @IHI #TowerHamlets virtual visit.
