we (Poimandres, well, mostly Sara Vieira and recently @lewy_blue) have been working on laying the groundwork for what will become a dev-first CC0 asset market: models, textures, hdris, matcaps, shaders, ..., you'll be able to dl, access by end-point, also npm install statically →
We have all been waiting for this: Now it is possible to render maps in #3D using the Google Maps JavaScript API! At Ubilabs we worked with the Google Maps Platform team and created the first WebGL demos for the big launch during #GoogleIO2021. developers.google.com/maps/documenta…
For the #ITS World Congress we created an animated public transport map for Hamburg. You can zoom and tilt the scene to see trains moving through the city. → go.ubilabs.co/3DtDxma The app was build using the latest WebGL features of the Google Maps Platform together with @Threejs.
