Oh dang, "3D Math Primer for Graphics and Game Development" is now available online for free! I have a physical version and its an incredible resource. This book is super tech-artist friendly and very applicable to rigging. I can't recommend it enough! gamemath.com

This shows the first step of the sparse virtual texturing algorithm applied to a globe with 256x128 image tiles organized into a quad-tree. The shader used to compute the required texture resolution across the globe runs in a webworker with OffscreenCanvas + WebGL. #threejs
