As winter grips the country, UNICEF is calling for greater support for over 96,000 children affected by the October earthquakes in Western Afghanistan:

Sometimes it’s just a small room in a hospital, village, or border post, but the joy on the faces of children at #ChildFriendlySpaces is heartwarming. UNICEF Afghanistan & partners set up over 750 such spaces where children play, learn & access psychosocial support & other services.

Together, we can achieve vaccination #ForEveryChild. In March 2024 we delivered the Measles vaccine to 111,580 children and Pentavalent 3 vaccines to 128,028 children – protecting them from five diseases! #VaccinesSaveLives
