80% (plus) of the actors who have put themselves forward for the short film are from London. And honestly, accommodating one would tank the entire budget, even though they aren't getting paid we do have to cover them in some way. Casting outside the capital is quite a trick.

The local cinema is closing on Sunday and it's not reopening until the end of the year. A "boutique" one is opening in the summer. So, that's months of nothing or travelling across the north east. Fun. Silver lining, I guess it'll make going to the cinema feel special again.

This reminds me of Ken Russell who ended his career basically making films in his back garden.
