When the potassium is within normal limits

My hospital currently has open positions for ED, ICU, L&D, and NICU. So done with my unit & with MedSurg that I'm half tempted to apply to all of them and just see which one bites.

Attention Nurses: If you want an in depth 30-minute report, be ready to begin taking report 30 minutes before the prior shift ends. Doesn't matter what shift, no one's time is more valuable than anyone else's.

RIP Tristan 😣💗 I hope every hospital administrator/ceo/manager reads this and I hope it makes them sick. This is what nurses go through. Every single day. No matter what unit, no matter what shift.

My hospital isn't allowing any OT this week because apparently 5 nurses to staff 36 beds is a perfectly acceptable ratio. 🙃
