This The BMJ blog from Dr John Britton (UKCTAS) aligns pretty well with my priors regarding the importance of pursuing #RethinkNicotine. blogs.bmj.com/bmj/2019/09/20…

UKCTAS now Prof John Britton on vaping and lung disease. Sets out risks which are real but significantly lower than from tobacco smoking. #ECigSummit US showing acute lung injury patterns. Isolated in time, place +person. Something special happening not routine vaping caused.

👏👏👏 UKCTAS on the ERS publications paper: “There’s nothing in this new paper that should change advice to smokers. If you smoke, switch. If you don’t smoke, don’t vape. And just as you wouldn’t buy unlicensed alcoholic drinks, don’t vape cannabis or other bootleg products.”
