Monitoring and Evaluation underway in Arua City for the Children Education for a Bright Future Project! After engaging with District & City officials, we visited six schools to assess progress and impact. Ensuring every child has the chance to thrive. #Education

Our monitoring visit in Arua City includes a vital component: distributing support packages (books, pens & reusable sanitary pads) to the most vulnerable learners as a symbol of hope, dignity, & opportunity to combat school dropout rates & empower them to continue their education

From the monitoring visit in Yumbe, it has been recorded that following the withdrawal of UNHCR funding, children in the Bidibidi Camp can no longer attend school. They’re now forced to farm, become family heads or return to Sudan, ending their education & jeopardizing futures.

In response, we are providing some of the most vulnerable students with starter packs of books, pens, pencils, & sanitary pads for girls to address the lack of school supplies, which is one of the causes of school dropout, and thereby encourage continued class attendance.

Following our monitoring visit in Arua, a training was held for all Key Stakeholders in Education to establish Community-based Reporting Systems for cases involving children. The outcome is an important step in strengthening our collective efforts to protect & educate children.

The campers spent a heartwarming day at God’s Glory Ministry Children’s Home, where they were welcomed by the director, staff, & children. They shared gifts, offered words of encouragement, & danced together creating beautiful memories filled with joy, laughter, & love.

Campers honed their entrepreneurial skills in a dynamic session on pitching and fundraising. Thanks to the expertise of our facilitators, Prudence and Mercy, they’ve learned the crucial skills of crafting a compelling narrative and understanding donor psychology.
