Girls Must Uganda, as part of the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Cluster in the Youth Coalition for SDGs, had the opportunity to participate in the first MHH Statistics Stakeholders' Meeting which took place today at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics Offices.

The meeting brought together key MHH Stakeholders, MDAs, committed to promote monitoring of MHH at National and Community level. The purpose of this meeting was for the Bureau to gain a comprehensive understanding of Menstrual Health ad Hygiene context in Uganda.

The stakeholders' meeting aimed at informing a roadmap for addressing MHH Data needs in Uganda and to establish a relationship between MHH with Special Interest Groups like persons living with disabilities, adolescent girls and young women.

Hooray 🎊 sharing exciting news this Friday. We received a donation from AFRIpads this week to support our campaign to #EndPeriodPoverty in #Teso and #Kigezi sub-regions. 1,000 adolescent girls to receive #periodkits with MHH information booklets for both boys and girls.
