There is no incident at Dalton Academy. There was an erroneous report made to law enforcement of a possible active shooter at the school, but police have responded to the school and we have confirmed that there is no threat at the school.

Incident Update

The Chattanooga Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office are responding to a critical incident at Martin Luther King Blvd & Lindsay Street, blocking the street. While there is no active threat to public safety, please find alternative routes through the city.

There is an active incident on Constitution Road in Atlanta, in which a Trooper was shot. We will provide further information once available.
