Good observation. You normally have no movement stick. Instead, when you shoot, you're pushed in the opposite direction. So movement and shooting are linked, requiring some challenging coordination

Demo of the twin-stick shooting in Twin Synth. I got momentum up with some 'off camera' shots, then I use my momentum to let me wash the bullets across the space by shooting up with one stick and down with the other. Can be a handy move! #IndieGameDev #gamedev
